Country roads account for over half (58%) of all fatalities on Scotland’s roads.
Latest figures show that in a twelve month period, 686 people were killed or seriously injured whilst driving on country roads (2) and two thirds of those people were men.
Almost half of all drivers killed or seriously injured on country roads are aged 22-49.
This campaign encourages drivers to prepare for the unexpected on country roads, in a bid to reduce the number of fatalities.
